LIMITED WARRANTY

10 YEAR EXTENDED LIMITED WARRANTY

ALL PRODUCTS PURCHASED ON SWISSGEAR.CA

SWISSGEAR.ca is devoted to ensuring customer satisfaction, even after checkout is complete. Up from the standard 2-year and 3-year limited warranties, all purchases from SWISSGEAR.ca will automatically be eligible for our 10-year extended limited warranty, including backpacks, watches, belts, wallets and travel accessories. For more information on what is covered under this 10-year extended limited warranty, see eligibility rules in the 2-year and 3-year limited warranty repair or replacement clause.

2 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

BACKPACKS, BUSINESS CASES, TRAVEL ACCESSORIES, BELTS & WALLETS

Swissgear.ca is proud to stand by the quality craftsmanship of the Backpacks, Business Cases, Travel Accessories, Belts and Wallets that we sell. When used under normal conditions for which they are designed, these products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the original date of purchase. If such a defect occurs, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace your product upon presentation of our original Swissgear.ca sales receipt, which serves as proof of purchase to validate your warranty.

If we determine that an identical replacement is not available, we will provide you with a product of comparable value. This warranty does not cover accidental damages, unreasonable or improper use, normal wear and tear, improper handling or damages caused by a common carrier, loss of use or consequential damages, nor does it cover repairs attempted by unauthorized persons. If a common carrier damages your product, contact them immediately to file a claim. Please note that leather products may contain folds, markings, grain inconsistencies and variances in shade. These are natural occurrences in leather and are not considered defects. Should you need to return your product, please contact Online Customer Support. Remember that you must have your original Swissgear.ca sales receipt available in order to obtain a Return Authorization for your repair or replacement. All returns must be sent to Swissgear.ca postage or freight prepaid.

WATCHES

3 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Swissgear.ca proudly stands by the quality craftsmanship of its watches. Subject to the terms of the warranty, your watch is guaranteed for a period of three years from the date of purchase. Only the workmanship and materials of the hands, dial, and watch movement existing at the time of purchase will be covered under the three-year limited warranty, which will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of SWISSGEAR. If such defects occur, please provide the original Swissgear.ca sales receipt to serve as proof of purchase to validate your warranty. Upon replacement of a watch, your warranty will then expire three years after the date of receipt of the replacement watch.

This warranty does not cover the life of the battery, damage resulting from improper handling, impact, and normal wear and tear.

This warranty is also void if the watch has been damaged by accident, negligence, unauthorized service, or other factors not caused by defects in materials or workmanship.

The purchaser is responsible for shipping costs to their designated, authorized service center.

Swissgear.ca is proud to stand by the quality craftsmanship of its Luggage and Travel Bags. When used under normal conditions for which they are designed, these products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for ten years from the original date of purchase. If such a defect occurs, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace your product upon presentation of our original Swissgear.ca sales receipt, which serves as proof of purchase to validate your warranty.

Should you need to return your product, please contact Online Customer Support. Remember that you must have your original Swissgear.ca sales receipt available in order to obtain a return authorization for your repair or replacement. All returns must be sent to Swissgear.ca postage or freight prepaid. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from province/territory to province/territory or from country to country.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

WARRANTY REPAIRS

LUGGAGE & BACKPACKS ONLY

To report a warranty defect or to get a product repaired that is outside its warranty, please contact Online Customer Support for a warranty defect RA # and shipping instructions to the nearest authorized repair center.

If the bag is deemed eligible for a warranty claim by Customer Support, arrangements will be made immediately to have it repaired. If we deem that the case is non-repairable, we will replace it with the same or an equivalent valued model, free of charge. For all warranty repairs, the customer is only responsible for the shipping cost to the repair center while Swissgear.ca will cover the cost to return the repaired product to the customer using Purolator Ground freight. If the customer would like priority return shipping, they must pay the difference.

If it is determined that the case is not covered under its warranty after it has been received by the repair center, the customer will be notified prior to any work being done. If at that time, the customer elects not to provide Swissgear.ca with an approval for the repair work as well as a credit card number, Swissgear.ca will cover the cost to return the non-repaired product to the customer using Purolator Ground freight. If the customer would like priority return shipping, they must pay the difference.

Non-Warranty Repairs

As an added service, all authorized repair centers will repair products sold by Swissgear.ca that fall outside of our limited warranty at a very nominal cost. To locate the closest authorized repair center, please contact Online Customer Support.
